RealPage Acquires Vigilan, SaaS Provider to the Senior Living Industry
CARROLLTON, TX, Jan.4, 2012 — RealPage, Inc. (NASDAQ:RP), a leading provider of on demand software and software-enabled services to the rental housing industry, today announced the acquisition of substantially all of the operating assets of Vigilan, Incorporated (“Vigilan”) for approximately $5.0 million. A provider of assisted living software-as-a-service, Vigilan products allow assisted living communities to monitor and schedule detailed care, manage labor costs, provide accurate billing as well as compliance tools through its comprehensive 50-state compliance module.

PORTLAND, OR, December 22, 2011 —Today Vigilan, provider of software for better senior living, announced the Beta release of a new mobile application that enables the collection of Assisted Living resident vital signs to an iPhone or iPad. As an integrated application with the Vigilan Care Suite, the mobile app is a free, “at the moment of care” tool that nursing staff can use to save time by eliminating the need for paper charting and data entry.
