Turn Around in a Small Town

 

Situation:
A residential care facility in a small town received over 40 citations from the state surveyors reflecting poor regulatory compliance. The state told the owners it was shutting the facility down and revoking its license.

Management could see the staffing needed on each shift by skill level. A survey of residents showed improved satisfaction with the care. Situation:
Anderson Plaza was founded in 1977 and is family owned. The facility was one of the first in the region to offer seniors a complete range of living options, including independent and assisted living apartments. The facility is part of Anderson Retirement Centers and provides services for over 100 residents.
